Spanish Red Beans and Rice

15 ounces red beans, rinsed and drained14.5 ounces diced tomatoes1 cup dry instant brown rice3/4 cup salsa1 cup water1 tsp ground cumin1/2 tsp ground oregano1/2 tsp salt
Place all ingredients in a pan, except cheese. Bring to a boil and simmer, covered for 5 minutes. Stir. Let simmer on low for an additional 5 minutes. Add cheese and cover and allow to melt.
Makes 4 1 1/2 cup servings.
