Ingredients
5 cups any fruit fresh or (canned drained)1 cup sugar for batter2 tbl butter softened2 cups flour1 cup Skim milk 1/2 tsp salt2 tsp baking powder2 cups boiling water1 cup sugar for topping
Directions
mix sugar & butter together.
mix flour, salt & baking powder in separate bowl.
add flour mixture to sugar ,mix alternately with milk. pour over fresh fruit. Sprinkle 1 cup of sugar over batter; next pour 2 cups boiling water over batter. bake for 1 hour 9x13 pan. 16 -1/2 cup servings
