1 large head of savoy cabbage3 cloves of garlic (whole)1 Tbsp of extra virgin olive oil1/2 cup chicken broth (99% fat free, low sodium)dash of salt, to tastefresh ground black pepper, to taste
Coarsly chop the cabbage. Heat saute pan over medium-high heat - add olive oil and grate in the garlic cloves. Add cabbage - stir to coat. Allow to cook approximately 5 minutes, then add chicken broth. Cook until cabbage is tender. Add salt and pepper to taste before serving. Serve over brown rice or alone as a side dish!
Makes about 6 servings, 1/2 cup each (depending on the size of the cabbage used).
