Slow Cooked Latin Chicken

Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil3 lbs chicken breast, boneless, skinnless1 medium yellow onion1 red bell pepper2 yams, peeled and cut into chunks2 cans black beans1 cup salsa2 tsp ground cumin1/2 tsp allspice3 cloves garlic, chopped
Directions
Add oil to large pan and heat. Add onions to brown. Before the onions are fully cooked add chicken and peppers. Cook chicken 3-5 minutes on each side until slightly brown.

Add chicken, onions, peppers, sweet potatoes and beans to slow cooker.

Mix together spices, broth and salsa in a separate container and then poor into slow cooker.

Cook on low for 4 hours.
