Venison/Beef Chili Con Carne

1 lb ground Venison1 lb ground Sirloin Beef1 c. chopped onion3 clvs, garlic1 cn. Ro*Tel1 cn. tomato sauce (80z)4 tsps ground cumin2 tsps dried oregano2 tsps unsweet cocoa powder or 2 sqs. dark chocolate1 tsp paprika
Brown meat in large stock pot, breaking up with spoon as needed. Remove meat with slotted spoon. Leave grease & add onions & cook till tender (may need to add oil to do so if meat is very lean). Drain grease when onion is done.
Return the meat to the pot, adding all other ingredients & mix well. Turn burner to low, cover & simmer 30 min. Uncover & cook on simmer for another 30 min., or until thickened some what.
Serve with sour cream,cheese & chopped raw onions w/grilled cheese,crackers or corn muffins.
