Ingredients
1.5 cups chickpeas1 pck frozen spinach, thawed3 cloves garlic1 Tbsp olive oil1 heaping Tbsp tahini (1.2)1 fl oz lemon juicesalt and pepper to taste
Directions
Blend in food processor until smooth. 1 serving is 1 Tbsp; recipe makes almost 3 cups.

    Made this recipe last night but used 1/3 cup lemon, 4 cloves garlic and added 1 tsp. cumun and a dash of cayene pepper. I eliminated the oil & cooked chick peas in microwave slightly before using in the food processor, (that gives a smoother texture in the end)..Yummy - 6/14/10

    Easy and good, though I added lots more garlic and used three lemons that had gotten somewhat shriveled and hard and were on the verge of being thrown out. - 3/13/09
