Jumpstart Italian bean soup

Ingredients
1 medium carrot chopped2 cans tomatoes 1 zucchini quartered and sliced1 lb Italian Sausage, pork ground (or casings removed) 1 can low sodium low fat Chicken Broth2 cups great northern beans1 1/2 TBSP Italian seasoningwater as needed
Directions
brown and drain sausage.
puree tomatoes in a blender
place tomatoes, broth, seasoning, and sausage in a pot to simmer. Add 2 cups water.

cut up vegetables.

add vegetables and beans to soup. continue cooking until veggies are as desired. add water as needed to have the soup the right consistency.

As you can see, this is a very simple and basic recipe. We thoroughly enjoyed it as it is.
