Ingredients
Directions
12 medium apples (I prefer Golden Delicious)3/4 tsp ground cinnamon(optional)2 tsp splenda1/4 tsp nutmeg(optional)1 1/2 cups water
Peel & core apples. Cut each apple into quarters.
Place is saucepan with water & bring to boil. Boil for about 15 minutes until soft. Break apples into smaller pieces while cooking (as they soften). Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil & cook 1-2 minutes, depending on how much liquid you want in your applesauce. Eat warm (with a dollop of sugar free whipped topping) or chilled.
This recipe can be made without cinnamon or nutmeg for a more natural taste.
