Ingredients
12 - 4" Pitas1/4 cup olive oil1/2 tsp black pepper1 tsp garlic salt1/2 tsp basil
Directions
cut pita bread into quarters
mix oil, peper, salt and oregano in a bowl
brush pita quarters with the mixture
place pieces on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for ~6-7 minutes until the start to brown
remove and enjoy with some garlic hummus or by themselves

    Not sure if you're supposed to just brush the oil on one side or both. I tried it both ways and putting it on both sides was definitely better. I also turned mine over halfway through the baking time. - 8/14/10
