1 C Butter1/2 C Sugar2 tsp Vanilla Extract1/4 tsp Salt2 1/2 C Flour1/2 C Seedless Raspberry Jam (Smuckers)1 C Pwd Sugar4 tsp fresh Lemon Juice
Mix Butter, Sugar, Vanilla, Salt, and Flour together. Form into 6 logs, pressing into 9" by 3" pads, (be sure to keep space between each pad to allow for baking). Make a depression down the middle of each one lenghtwise. ( I used the handle of a wooden spoon). Fill depressions with seedles Raspberry Jam (I used a small baggie and cut off the corner), then bake at 350 degrees for 12 - 15 minutes.
When fully cooled, mix Powder Sugar with Lemon Juice. Drizzle this across the cookies back and forth. (I used a small baggie and cut off the corner). When the drizzle is set, cut baked cookie pads diagonally. Very rich and delicious!! ENJOY!
