Portabella Mushroom Spread

Ingredients
2 Tbl. Olive Oil1 pound Portabella Mushrooms, cleaned and diced1.5 cups yellow onion, diced1Tbl. Chopped Garlicsalt and pepper to taste
Directions
Heat olive oil in heavy skillet. Saute remaining ingredients until soft and mushrooms have given up their liquid. Put in bowl of food processor and pulse until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve spread on rye crispbreads. Serves 8

    Very easy. Very tasty, thanks ;-)

    I didn't have any olive oil used a splash of water and lid instead, basically steamed the onion and added a tbl sp soy sauce when cooking the mushrooms.
