Spinach Lentil Soup

lentils, spinach, barley spices, tomato sauce
In large pot, saute onions, celery, carrots and garlic in oil until softened. Add in broth, lentils diced tomatoes, and spices. Simmer 30-40 minutes until lentils soften. Add in 1/2 cup of barley and simmer for ten more minutes. Add spinach for the last five minutes or so of cooking.
