British Shortbread

Ingredients
1 cup butter3/4 cup icing sugar (powdered sugar)3/4 cup cornstarch, sifted1 1/2 cup flour
Directions
Cream butter & sugar
Mix in cornstarch, then flour
Roll out with rolling pin on to floured surface and cut with cookie cutter or form by hand. *Be sure to flour everything as this dough tends to be a tad sticky.
Bake in 325-350 degree oven for 8-12 minutes or until bottom edges are starting to turn golden brown.
Makes approximately 5 dozen 2"x1" cookies.
