Prevention White Chicken Chili (half recipe)

Ingredients
1 onion, chopped1 garlic clove, minced1/2 T. olive oil1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces2 cans cannellini or white beans, drained and rinsed1 can fat-free, reduced sodium chicken broth1.5 can chopped green chilis.5 t. each salt and cumin.5 t. dried oregano.25 t. each chili powder and ground black pepper1/16 t. ground cloves1/16 t. ground red pepper
Directions
Saute onion and garlic in oil in large pot over med-high heat. Add chicken and brown 5 minutes. Transfer mixture to slow cooker. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on love 4 to 6 hours. Uncover and cook 1 hour longer, stirring occasionally.
