Ingredients
1/2 lb. ground beef, browned, drained46 oz. can tomato juiceplus same of water6 beef bouillon cubes2 cups chopped celery4-6 med. carrots, peeled, sliced2 cups mushrooms, sliced1/4 green pepper, minced1/4 onion, minced2 Tbsp. lemon juice2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce2 tsp. marjoram1 tsp. saltblack pepper to taste1 cup pasta, rotini is great
Directions
Combine all in a large stock pot. Bring to boil, stirring frequently to dissolve bouillon cubes. Reduce heat to low. Simmer 2 hours.
The pasta turns out much better if you add it half an hour before soup is done. This is a wonderful cold-weather soup and is great re-heated.
