.5 Cup Instant Oats1 Cup 2 percent Milk3 teaspoons brown sugar1 teaspoon vanilla extract
This is as simple as they come, plus, you can vary the ingredients according to your preference! In a blender, place the cooked oatmeal (prepare it with water), cup of milk, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Then place 3-4 cubes of ice, or more depending on how you like your smoothies, then blend! Make sure you blend it enough time, or the oatmeal will stay thick at the bottom of you drink. You can sprinkle cinnamon, or anything else you like on top!
