Ingredients
1- 1lb package 93% lean ground turkey (or fat free ground turkey breast)1-medium yellow onion (roughly chopped)1-packet low-sodium taco seasoning1-16 oz can each of pinto and kidney beans (total 2 cans...DO NOT DRAIN)1-6oz can tomato paste1-16oz jar medium salsa1-12oz can diced tomato/chile mix (like Rotel)
Directions
This recipe makes 10 one-cup servings! At around 205 cals and 3.5g fat per pop, it's a healthy and FILLING meal.

1. In a large stock or soup pot, brown the turkey and saute the onion (about 10-12 mins).
2. Add taco seasoning to turkey/onion combo and stir well.
3. Add in remaining ingredients and simmer for about 10 mins.

I recommend serving the chili with 1/4 cup 1% milkfat cottage cheese (instead of sour cream) and a sprinkle of fat-free cheddar. NOTE: I did not include the condiments in the nutritional value.

Add in a serving of your favorite dipping chips and your good to go!

I'd also strongly recommend the corn. Any other frozen veggies you have lying around also work: I tossed in a bit of spinach for color. Share with roommates/family: this is WAY too much to eat if you're cooking for one! - 6/18/09

This was an amazing recipe! I added a bit of corn...just because I was in the mood for it. AMAZING. It was a hit with the fam and they loved that it wasn't oily and fatty. You are the best. :) - 4/29/09

I was one of her TOPS friends and enjoyed the chili she shared with us. I've made it twice since the year began. I used a medium heat salsa.. and an extra can of beans. It has a nice 'kick' and easy to throw together. Thanks for sharing the recipe Xanetia7! - 2/4/09
