Ingredients
Directions
If you want the recipe to be lower in carbs, substitute Eden Black Soy Beans, for the Regular Type of Canned Black Beans. If you don't want to use Tomatoes, then use the 4 cups of broth + tomato sauce.
Brown ground turkey in olive oil, and add the garlic, cumin, and 1 tablespoon of the chili powder. This helps the turkey hold the seasoning.
Add the Tomatoes undrained OR Beef Broth + Tomato Sauce, Beans (drained and rinsed), Onion, Green Pepper, and Corn (drained).
Next add the rest of the Chili Powder, Oregano and 2 Bay Leaves.
Cook until the beans and veggies are tender, continue to season to taste if you feel it needs more.
