No Yeast Cinnamon Rolls

Filling:1/4 cup granulated sugar1 tsp cinnamon1/4 cup melted margarineDough:1/4 cup shortening2 tbsp margarine2 cups flour2 tbsp granulated sugar3/4 tsp salt4 tsp baking powder2/3 to 3/4 cup milk
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Mix together sugar and cinnamon for filling and set aside.
Stir together flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Cut in shortening and margarine until consistency of cornmeal. Add milk in doses until smooth, but not sticky, dough forms.
Turn out onto floured surface and knead three times. Roll into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mix. Roll up from long side. Cut into 3/4 inch slices. Place on well greased baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes.
