Home made Tomato Rice soup

Ingredients
1 cup chopped onion1 cup chopped carrot1 cup chopped celery2 tsp minced garlic2 14oz cans of diced tomatoes2 cups chicken broth2 bay leaves2 cups water1/8 teaspoon black pepper2 cups cooked brown rice1/2 Tablespoon olive oil
Directions
Saute chopped veggies in olive oil til soft. Add all other ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes or longer. Serves 4
