Ingredients
2 smoked turkey legs8 cups water1 pkg lentils (2 cups-ish)large bunch greens (2 cups-ish chopped)2 large carrots, shredded or chopped2 large stalks celery, chopped1 large onion, chopped1 can petite diced tomatoes1 tsp dried garlic, or 4 cloves (the more the better!2 Tbs curry powder.5 tsp salt1 tsp pepper(1 Tbs Braggs Liquid Aminos opt.)
Directions
boil turkey legs in water for about an hour, getting a good broth going. Remove turkey and add lentils, adding water as needed to keep it at a full pot. Pick all meat from the bones, then add with chopped veggies, canned tomatoes, and seasonings after about 20 minutes, then cook until all is tender (roughly another 40 minutes to an hour).
