Ingredients
6 Qts. Ro,a Tomato Juice2 C. Chopped Onion6 Garlic Clove, Crushed6 T. Parsley Flakes4 Tb. Salt2 Tb. Oregano1 1/2 tsp. Anise Seed1/4 cup white sugar2 lg. cans tomato paste
Directions
Put 6 Quarts of Roma Tomato Juice into apot, add onions and simmer until transparent. Add additional ingredients and simmer for 1/2 hour. Place in clean quart jars with sterilized lids and rings. Pressure can at 5 lbs. pressure for 8 minutes.

A serving is a half cup of sauce, the nutritional value does not include any meat added to the sauce. This recipe will yield 6-7 quarts of sauce. If you do not have roma tomatoes and would like to use regular tomatoes, juice 12 quarts of tomatoes and simmer until it's down to 6 quarts, then follow the recipe to add the ingredients. I prefer roma tomatoer as they are meatier and do not require you to simmer down to thicken the sauce.
