Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cake

Ingredients
1 3/4 cp boiling water1 cp uncooked oatmeal1 cp packed brown sugar1 cp sugar1/2 cp softened butter3 eggs1 3/4 cp flour1 tsp baking soda1 tsp baking cocoa1/4 tsp salt1 (12 oz.) pkg chocolate chips (I think 8 oz would be fine)3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans OPT.
Directions
In mixing bowl pour water over oatmeal soak for 10 min. Add sugars and butter stirring till butter melts. Add eggs, one at a time (or what I do is put eggs in TW Quick Shake, blend together) mix well. Stir flour, soda, cocoa and salt together add to batter, mix well (it will be runny). Stir in 1/2 chocolate chips pour into 9 x 13 cake pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts (opt) on top of cake. Bake for 350 degrees for 30-40 min. It took 30 in my oven.
Makes 24 2in pieces at 220 cal each piece.
