This is a huge recipe for turkey soup. You will need your largest crock pot or cook pot to make this.

It has 36 1/2 cup servings or 18 full cup servings.

You must use precooked turkey to make this recipe. You could use leftovers from Thanksgiving or Christmas or you can cook it just for this, but make sure it is already cooked!

Mix all of the ingredients in your crock pot and cook for 2-4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on very low.

Make sure your carrots and rice are soft before serving.

Serve warm in a large bowl.

I noticed in the "Ingredients Details" that it says 1 1/2 cups of brown rice instead of 1/2 c on the main recipe. I'm thinking it should be 1 1/2 maybe. Looking forward to making it this weekend to dole out for my lunches at work. - 3/21/09
