Tomatillo Turkey Chille

Ingredients
12 oz ground turkey1 tbs canola oil1 cup poblano pepper chopped1 cup onion chopped2 cups tomatillos chopped1 15 oz can diced tomatoes1 8 oz can tomato sauce1 15 oz can black beans2-3 tbs of taco powder1 tbs chili powder1/2 tbs cumin1-2 cups water
Directions
Heat the oil in a large pot and cook the pepper, onion and tomatillos until soft. Add the ground turkey and cook until it loses it's pink color. Add the remaining ingredients with enough water to cover and simmer for 20 minutes. You can make this as thick or thin as you like but adjust your seasoning if you are adding more water.

    I made this using chicken stock instead of the tomato sauce and it is very good. Would make again for sure. - 10/1/09
