Mardi Gras Red Beans and Rice - slow cooker

Ingredients
8 cups hot water1 Tbsp salt1/2 tsp black pepper1/2 cup bell pepper, diced1/4 celery, sliced3 cups dried pinto beans3 cups cooked rice
Directions
Put all ningredients except rice in slow cooker. Stir once. Turn slow cooker on low for 8 - 10 hours.

Stir before serving. Some like to us a potato masher to make it thicker.

Serve over rice.
