Mushroom Barley Lamb Soup

Ground lamb, onion, carrot, celery, Roma (sauce) tomato, mustard greens, paprika, cumin seed, oregano, coriander, cayenne pepper, nutmeg, bay leaf, salt
Bring 6 cups water to a boil. Add carrot, celery, mustard greens and tomato. Reduce heat, simmer 15 minutes.
Add lamb and chopped onion to hot skillet. Season with paprika, cumin, oregano, coriander, cayenne, nutmeg. Cook until lamb is browned and onions have softened. Add lamb-onion mixture, mushrooms, barley, and bay leaf to pot with vegetables. Add salt to taste. Simmer 45 minutes.
