Frozen Mixed vegetables side dish

Ingredients
1 10-oz package of frozen mixed vegetables1/2 tsp salt1 tsp oilOptional1/2 tsp mustard seeds1/2 tsp urad dhal
Directions
1. Place the frozen mixed vegetables and salt in a microwave safe bowl
2. Microwave high for 3 minutes
3. Remove from microwave, stir and microwave again for another 3 minutes
4. Optional -- In a skillet, pop the mustard seeds in a teaspoon of oil, add urad dhal and let it brown to a very pleasing color; add it to the vegetables, stir and microwave for another 3 minutes
5. Serve as a side dish
