Grammie's Pea Salad

Ingredients
20 oz frozen peas1cup chopped celery1/2 cup chopped onions1/2 cup chopped cashews1/4 cup bacon bits1 cup mayonnaise
Directions
Place peas in a colander and rinse with warm water to thaw slightly. Drain well. Chop onion, celery and cashews and place in large mixing bowl. Add peas and mayonnaise. Mix gently until ingredients are well coated. Chill 4-5 hours before serving, allowing peas to thaw completely and flavors to blend.
Makes approximately 20 1/4 cup servings.

* These measurements and the servings from them are approximate, as my 92-year-old grandmother does not measure anything.
