Banana Cake, Homemade

Ingredients
3/4 cup butter1 1/2 cups white sugar3 eggs1 tsp vanilla extract3/4 cup sour milk or buttermilk1 cup ripe mashed bananas2 cups all-purpose flour1/4 cup ground flaxseed1/2 tsp. salt1/2 tsp baking soda1 tsp baking powder
Directions
In a large bowl, mix together butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Set aside

In another bowl, sift together flour, flax meal, salt, soda, and baking powder. Add these dry ingredients to the reamed mixture.

Add sour milk and bananas to the batter. Beat together well.

3. grease and flour 2 bread pans or 2 9 inch round cake pans or one 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 17 to 20 minutes for the cake layers, or 25 to 40 minutes for the sheet cake or loaf pans.
