2 slices Weight Watchers whole wheat bread1/4 C egg beaters1 tsp vanilla extract2 tsp cinnamon, ground2 TBSP plain or vanilla protein powder
Mix eggs, protein, vanilla & cinnamon in a shaker or in the blender. Mix VERY well to get really combined and make sure there are no lump..Pour into a shallow bowl and dip in bread making sure to get it coated well on both sides. (the batter is almost pancake consistency so it's thicker than normal french toast).There should be no batter left after both pcs. of bread are coated.
Cook like regular french toast...(if using almonds put them on the wet side of the french toast before flipping over..or just sprinkle on top if you don't want them roasted more)
Use sugar free syrup.
