Mom's Garden Salad

Ingredients
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar1 tablespoon virgin olive oil1/2 teaspoon sugar1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon black pepper1 clove garlic3 green onions1 red bell pepper1 green bell pepper1 granny smith apple1/4 cup golden raisins1/2 cucumber1 cup seedless grapes
Directions
Mix vinegar, oil, pepper, salt, sugar and crushed garlic.

Chop or slice all fruits and vegetables.

Mix and then refrigerate for at least one hour.

Also good with mandarin oranges, sweet corn, broccoli

    great for summer. It's a little cold in New England right now to really appreciate it. The balsamic vinegar is nice and sweet so It complements the apple. I leave out raisins when I prepare food. The only thing I like with my raisins, is other raisins.. - 3/10/07
