Fruit Cocktail Cake

Ingredients
1.5 c sugar2 c flour2 tsp baking soda.5 tsp salt2 eggs1 can fruit cocktail with juiceIcing3/4 c sugar1/2 c milk1/2 c margarine1 tsp vanilla
Directions
Beat eggs and add in 1.5 c sugar, flour, baking soda, salt and fruit cocktail. Bake at 350F for 35-45 mins in a 9x13 pan.

When cake is almost finished, in a small saucepan boil together margarine, 3/4 c sugar, and milk. Remove from heat and add vanilla and pour over hot cake.

    I just made this and it smelt and looked so good so I just had to take a small bite before family got home from school and work.... oh its soooo good but I know that it will HAVE to be given to some of the neighbors so there will be nooo temptation in house from this one....lol - 12/9/08

    Imake this cake and it is very good and moist.If you want to cut down on calories you can use splenda. - 3/14/07
