Homemade Chile

Ingredients
2 pounds of ground beef (80/20)2 cans of diced tomatoes1 can tomato sauce1 can pinto beans1 cup water3 finely diced garlic cloves1 teaspoon powdered cumin (or to taste)1/2 teaspoon pepper1 1/2 teaspoons salt1 teaspoon chile powder (or to taste)
Directions
Brown ground beef in a large 6-8 qt. pot. Add all spices and stir. Add all canned items and water. Stir well. Bring to a boil. Cover pot and simmer for 3 hours. The longer you simmer, the tastier this dish is. Serve with shredded cheese and diced onions.
Makes around 6-8 two cup servings. This recipe may be doubled or tripled for a large crowd.
