Beef Barley Soup

Ingredients
3/4 cup barley6 cups beef stock1/2 - 1lb. meat, leftover roast or round steak are good choices*1 tsp. Onion powder3 cups carrots, diced1 cup celery, diced1 tsp rosemary1/2 tsp. Thyme1 Bay Leaf
Directions
In a Dutch Oven, brown meat. Add Stock and bring to boil. Add barley and boil 1 hour. Add vegetables and seasonings and simmer at least 30 minutes. Makes 8 servings.
