Potato Soup Slow Cooker

Ingredients
6 lg russet potatoes, peeled and cut1 lg onion, chopped3 14oz cans chicken broth1/4 cup butter2 1/2 tsp salt1 1/4 tsp pepper, black1 cup whipping cream1 cup cheese, shredded
Directions
Combined first 6 ingredients in slow cooker. Cover & cook on high 4hrs or low 8hrs. Mash mixture until potatoes are coarsely chopped & soup is slightly thickened; stir in cheese.
