Apple & Sausage

Ingredients
1 lb. Low Fat Smoked Sausage3 small apples, diced1 tsp Cinnamon1/2 tsp Nutmeg2 tsp cornstarch2/3 C. Lite Cranberry-Apple juice
Directions
Cut sausage into 1 inch chunks. Saute sausage in large skillet over medium heat until cooked. Add apples, sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until apples are tender. Combine cornstarch and juice until smooth, stir into pan. Bring to boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.

    It was very sweet, but we used granny smith apples. I think maybe the juice addition put it over the edge for us. - 3/31/09
