Beef Barley Stew

Ingredients
1.5 lb beef stew meat, cut in 1" pieces1 medium onion, chopped1 quart water15 oz can of tomato sauce5 medium carrots, cut in 1/2" pieces1 celery rib, thinly sliced2 tsp salt1/2 tsp dried oregano1/2 tsp paprika1/4 tsp black pepper2 cups fresh or frozen green beans2 cups fresh or frozen corn3/4 cup medium pearl barley
Directions
Add beef and onion to bottom of slow cooker. Add water, tomato sauce, carrots, celery, salt, oregano, paprika and pepper. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.

Add beans, corn and barley; cover and cook on low 2 hours longer or until barley, beef and vegetables are tender.
