Guinness Beef Stew

Stew Beef 1.5 lb Onions, 1 cup, chopped Garlic, 2 cloves, mincedFlour, whole grain, 1/4 cupCarrots, raw, 5 medium, choppedParsnips, 3 choppedRed potatoes with skin, 4 small, quarteredParsley, fresh, chopped 1/2 cupTomato Paste, 2 oz.Guinness extra stout, 8 oz Olive Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)
Sautee onion and garlic in olive oil. Set aside.
Toss beef with flour and salt and pepper to taste. Brown in pan and add onion and garlic back in.
Add the rest of the ingredients and pour the Guinness extra stout over all. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 - 2 hours, adding water to thin as preferred.
Stir in parsley and simmer until soft, 5-10 minutes.
