1 cup Milk, low fat (I use soy)0.5c Sugar1c Copped dates, pitted2c Self-raising flourRice bran oil, about 1.5 tbsp
1. Preheat oven to 180 C. Put the chopped dates into the milk, and microwave for about a minute until the milk has soaked into the dates a little.
2. Mix in the melted butter, sugar, and sift the flour in. Use your hands to squash all the ingredients together.
3. Place the mixture onto a cooking sheet with parchment paper. I use a tablespoon to measure, but you can make them as big or small as you want. It makes about a dozen.
Bake for 15 min.

Sorry, it's meant to say 'oil', but you can use melted butter instead, the same amount as the oil in the ingredients list.
