Crockpot Honey Curried Lentils with Turkey

Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey1 cup red lentils 2.5 cups water2 tbsp honey2 tbsp soy sauce1 clove garlic, minced1/2 tsp powdered ginger1/4 tsp onion powder1 tsp lemon & pepper saltsprinkle of crushed red pepper1 tsp cumin2 tsp curry powder
Directions
Brown the ground turkey, drain well. Set aside.

Combine the remaining ingredients in the crockpot, stir well. Add the browned ground turkey.

Cook on low 3-5 hours.

Makes approximately 6 one-cup servings. Serve over whole-grain pasta or brown rice (not included in the nutritional values).
