24-Hour Salad

Ingredients
1 medium size head lettuce, chopped1 small onion, minced1 small green pepper, chopped1 cup chopped celery1 cups (LITE) Real Mayonnaise 1/2 cup nonfat Sour Cream3 Tblsp Sugar or Splenda to keep calories low1/2 to 1 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled (NOTE: Turkey bacon or less fat substitute can be used - calculation is for less fat)8 oz. lo fat cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions
Spread vegetables in order given in layers in a 9 x 13 inch pan.

Combine mayonnaise, sour cream and Splenda or sugar and spread over vegetables.

Sprinkle bacon over the top, then sprinkle shredded cheese over that.

Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours, 24 hours is better. The more the flavors meld, the better the salad tastes.
