Braised Steak au Poivre

Ingredients
one pound braising steak1 large onion, chopped1 tbsp peppercorns2 c red wine1 tbsp olive oil1 tbsp flour4 cloves garlic1/4 c cream
Directions
heat oil and fry onions for 5 mins. Crush peppercorns coarsely, mix with flour and press into meat. Sear meat. Reduce heat and add garlic and wine. Simmer 1-1 1.2 hours. Remove steak and keep warm. Reduce sauce by 1/2 and stir in cream. Serve over steak.
