Marinara Sauce

Ingredients
1 T. canola oil2 cloves garlic, minced1/2 a medium onion, chopped2 big (28 oz) cans crushed tomatoes1 T. dried basil1 T. dried oregano
Directions
Heat oil in a saucepan. Add onion and garlic and cook a few minutes until softened. Add tomatoes and herbs, bring to simmer. Simmer at least 20 minutes, and up to an hour.
