homemade potato soup

Ingredients
6 potatoes, peeled2 leeks, coarsley chopped2 onions, chopped1 carrot, peeled and chopped1 stalk celery, sliced1 Tbsp parsley flakes1/3 cu[ butter5 cup water4 chicken bouillon cubes1 Tbsp saltPepper to taste1 1/2 cup half and halfchopped chives
Directions
Cut potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Combine with vegetables, parsley flakes, butter, water, bouillon cubes and seasonings in Crock Pot; mix well. Cook on Low for 9-11 hours or on High for 2-3 hours. Stir in half and half. Cook for 1 hour longer. Mash vegetables with potato masher if desired. Ladle into soup bowls. Garnigh with chopped chives.
