tomato and lentil soup

Ingredients
I large can of tinned tomatoesI large can tinned red kidney beansI large onion2 medium fresh carrots100 grams red lentilsI vegetable oxo cube32 fl oz water
Directions
peel the onion and dice into small pieces and put into a large saucepan
dice the carrots into small pieces
add the tinned tomatoes
drain the kidney beans and add to the saucepan
add the lentils, vegetable stock cube and water.
bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes. makes 4 servings
