Quaker's Best Oatmeal Cookies

1 1/4 c. butter3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar1/2 c. granulated sugar1/4 c. Egg Beaters (equiv to 1 egg)1 tsp. vanilla1 1/2 c. flour1 tsp. baking soda1 tsp. salt1 tsp. cinnamon1/4 tsp. nutmeg3 c. Quaker Oats
Heat over to 375 degrees.
Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in egg substitute and vanilla. Add combined flour, baking soda, salt and spices; mix well. Stir in oats. Drop by tablespon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 or 9 mintes for chewy cookies (10 to 11 minutes for crisp cookies). Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet and remove to wire rack. Store tightly covered.
