Darn Good Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
1 chocolate cake mix1 Box instant choc. pudding mix4 large eggs1/2 cup canola oil1/2 cup warm water1 cup cour cream (light ok)1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven 10 350. Grease a 10" bundt pan. Put all ingredients except chocolate chips into mixer bowl. Mix on low speed for 30 seconds. Scrape bowl down. Beat for 2-3 minutes on med. speed. Batter will lighten in color. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 45-50 mins until a tester comes out clean. Cool in pan for 15 mins then invert onto serving plate. Dust with powdered sugar or use chocolate glaze of your choice. This is a diet killer - eat SMALL portions or when a splurge is needed. Also makes 24 cupcakes (portion control!).

    This is also really good if you substitute 8oz (1 cup) sour cream for the corn cream and lower the water and oil to 1/3 cups each. Also, instead of measuring out the chips, just use all of 12oz bag, chunks work just as well as chips; also fold in the chips rather than beating them to keep them whole - 2/3/13

    Maybe it isn't healthy or not worth the amount of calories but at what point are you just going to enjoy eating? Great job on throwing caution to the wind. This is a great recipe for entertaining those that don't bother everyone with their calorie counting. - 4/7/10
