Hawaiian Pork Steaks

4 pork shoulder steaks, cut 1/2 inch thick1 tbsp olive oil1 8oz can crushed pineapple (juice packed)1/2 cup chopped green pepper1/3 cup packed brown sugar2 tbsp quick tapioca2 tbsp ketchup1 tbsp soy sauce1/2 tsp dry mustard2 cups cooked brown rice
1. Trim fat from steaks. In a large skillet brown steaks on both sides in olive oil. Drain off fat. Transfer steaks to slow cooker.
2. In a bowl combine un-drained pineapple, green pepper, brown sugar, tapioca, ketchup, soy sauce, and dry mustard; pour over steaks. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours. Skim and discard fat from sauce serve mean and sauce over hot rice.
