super easy potato and chicken soup

9 large potatoes, peeled, washed and boiled1 cp carrots-raw, frozen or canned (nutrition info based on raw)12 oz nonfat evaporated milk1 cp mexican 4 cheese blend shredded cheese6 oz precooked grilled chicken breast strips1/2 cp diced onions2 tsp garlic powder8 oz light sour cream
Peel, wash and chop potatoes then boil. If using frozen or raw carrots boil with potatoes. When soft remove from heat, drain saving 2 cups liquid. Add ALL other ingrediants except sour cream, stir. Add as much of the reserved liquid as needed to make soup to desired consistency, i personally like mine thick. cook on low until heated through and cheese is melted-about 10-15 min. Add sor cream, stir well. Can also add pepper, makes about 8 servings-soup bowl sized.
